New MyWorldVision site: Tell us what you think!

Sponsoring a child and keeping in touch with them is a real joy. But until recently, sending letters or emails, changing giving records, and tracking project updates meant visiting several parts of our web site, calling us, or sifting through World Vision mailings.

Our team thought: Wouldn’t it be great to put all of this material online, all in once place?

So we launched www.myworldvision.org last fall with all sorts of information about your sponsored children and their communities.

Last month, we made the My Sponsored Child section even better, and we added a new My Giving & Account section!

Now, you can:

• Instantly send an email to your sponsored child.( It’s easy — we’ve even included samples to give you suggestions.)
• Check out new photos and updates from your child’s community.
• Find out how to send a special gift or package to your sponsored child.
• See your giving history, change your payment method, and manage your World Vision account all in one place (for all donors, including sponsors).
• Learn facts about your sponsored child’s country, its history and challenges.
• And much more!

The new sponsor site — My WorldVision — really helps me learn more about the world my sponsored children live in. We’re adding new features regularly! Take a look around and use the comment space below to tell us what you like and what we could make better — and please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make it easier to share love and encouragement with your sponsored children.

To get personalized information on the site, you’ll need to sign in to your online account. If you don’t already have one, don’t worry. It’s very easy to set one up.

Not a sponsor yet? For just $35 per month, you can help provide a child with life-giving basics like nutritious food, clean water, medical care, education, and spiritual nurture, as well as the intangible gift of hope.
